P13 – LIGHT

Lunar Navigation Helmet

“We want to take the already existing technology one step further and, in a way contribute, to the space missions’ evolution!”

about.

BEAM is a student team consisting of undergraduate and PhD students, who voluntarily work on space projects, and IGLUNA 2020 is one of them. The team’s base is in Greece and more specifically in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Our project for IGLUNA 2020 is called LIGHT and is about a lunar navigation helmet, that helps astronauts explore the moon. More specifically, we are developing an Augmented Reality software which will assist in navigation, but also give the right guidelines to reparational processes during missions.
