The MELiSSA IGLUNA 2020 team is a group of motivated PhD students across Europe working towards creating a complete recycling system for long-term space missions through the biological conversion of human urine for food and bio-based oxygen production. IGLUNA will offer us a test-bed environment, necessary to demonstrate for the first time our urine recycling system through the connection of different operative bioreactors.
